Underwater cleanup of an abandoned fishing net from a reef called Wanglong Wall at Phi Phi Islands Marine National Park
Marine life conservation Projects abroad volunteers found an abandoned fishing net. Covering a huge amount of a pinnacle at the Phi Phi Islands. The reef called Wanglong Wall. Fishing inside the Marine National Park is not allowed, yet we do find abandoned Fishing nets almost every single day! But this Net was 50m long and 50m wide. So we rescued lots of Marine life. Feather stars scorpionfish and hermit crabs as you can see in this video.

Underwater fishing net cleanup off of a Coral must be done with experience and good knowledge, perfect buoyancy control a scissor and some other divers to help out. Because it’s not a good idea to just rip the abandoned fishing net off the corals as you will damage the coral even more. But you can manage if you have these skills and a scissor.
