Turtle Rescue from our Volunteers
A hawksbill turtle rescue. She was caught inside a ghost net fortunately floating on the surface so the turtle was able to breath. Unfortunately she lost a flipper and had starved. She was pretty skinny. However we did what we could and disinfected the wound and put a bandage around. The next step was to bring her to Phuket Marine Biological Center (PMBC) where she stays for rehabilitation.
